How to take the custom order:
1. Show me the style of hat or fascinator you like from my store and a photo of your outfit and any other details you’d like me to know
2. I will send you a photo of the materials we have selected to be used for your hat and tell you the fee you need to pay, then give you a special link to purchase it, once completed, before I ship you the hat, I will show you the custom hat. The hat can be picked up in Rockville, Maryland.
3. Please keep in mind that no two hats are exactly the same, minor differences may occur.
How to know your size
Hat size is based on the circumference of the head. In order to determine your proper hat size, you must take a measurement of your head.
Using a tape measure, measure your head about one-half inch above your eyebrows where your hat will rest. Be certain that the tape measure is straight, not twisted. Alternatively, you can use piece of string to measure your head, and then measure the length of the string with a ruler. If you are not certain about size, or are between sizes, buy the larger size.

Jess is such a sweetheart, I ordered a more simple hat from her and then messaged her and worked with her to have an extra piece taken off one of the existing hat styles for ascot this year. She was wonderful to work with, she worked quickly and even sent me a photo of the item finished to confirm before getting it in the mail right after. The hat arrived today it is beautifully done exactly what I wanted and good quality.

I really liked my hat but once it arrived I felt it was somewhat overpriced relative to other options. The colors were great and I really appreciated being able to coordinate directly on matching my dress! I’d been under the impressions there would be a butterfly, but it seemed we miscommunicated. All around quite nice, might try a different direction next time for cost reasons.

I really liked this item. It went nicely with my outfit for the races. I wish the material was a little less transparent, but that is very minor. The matching headband was a great added perk.

This hat is beautiful! The only problem I had was trying to get the brim material to hold it's shape and not to buckle/pocket to achieve a smooth look. I got an immediate reply to my question about shaping (use a steamer) but it didn't help. I added an additional bow/feather/horse adornment from a Judith March belt and wore it to the Kentucky Derby with a little added expression! I got lots of compliments.
